What makes a great portrait photo?

Choose clear, well-lit originals near your pets’ eye level. Show both ears, eyes, noses, and distinctive markings. For two pets, use one clear photo of them together or upload a separate photo for each. Avoid filters, blurry screenshots, and covered faces. If we need a better photo, we’ll ask before creating the artwork.

Is shipping really free?

Yes. Standard shipping to U.S. addresses is included with every portrait, in every available size. No code is needed. Any applicable taxes are calculated at checkout.

Do I need to approve a proof?

No. We create and check the artwork using your photo and notes, then send it directly for professional printing. We will contact you if the photo or a detail needs clarification.

What comes with the framed poster?

Your personalized matte art print comes in a slim black wood frame, with a clear acrylic front protector and hanging hardware. There is no separate mat board. The selected size refers to the print, rather than the frame’s outside dimensions.

Can you create portraits of pets other than dogs?

Absolutely. Cats, rabbits, horses, birds, and other companion animals are welcome. Choose a clear photo showing the face and distinguishing features. You can include one pet or two together.

Can this be a gift or a memorial portrait?

Yes. A favorite photo can become a thoughtful gift or a quiet way to keep a beloved pet close. Use the optional notes to share any meaningful detail you want us to pay attention to.

When will my portrait arrive?

After checking the finished art, we professionally print it on textured canvas or matte poster paper in a black wood frame. The final piece is a print of your custom artwork, rather than paint applied by hand to the surface.

When will I get a tracking link?

As soon as your artwork is ready, we send it to print. When your finished portrait ships, we email a tracking link so you can follow its journey home.
