Our Story: It Started with Boone

Boone was a boxer who shared 13 wonderful years with us. That is a lot of ordinary days made brighter by one familiar face. It is also never quite enough time with a dog you love.

When we had to say goodbye, we wanted Boone’s place in our lives to remain visible. His portrait became a way to keep his face close and to remember the joy behind it—not just on a special day, but in the everyday spaces we shared.

That feeling became Boone & Tail. We created it in his honor and in honor of all the great dogs who leave their mark on a family. The name carries Boone’s legacy forward; every portrait gives another beloved companion a place to be seen and remembered for years to come.

We create the artwork digitally in our watercolor style, check the finished portrait, and send it for professional printing. We work to get every portrait on its way as quickly as possible; most orders ship within 3–5 days of purchase. There is no separate customer proof step. Your portrait is professionally printed and made to live with.
